Hair, Masks & Make Up

One summer I took a class in Viking style braiding, it was so much fun! Here is my friend Sofia with a braided hairdo. (It´s all her natural hair, she is a wonderful test subject!)

This is the first wig that I made, just for fun, using cheap plastic hair from a toy store.

Don´t I look good in a mustasch? This is the first one I ever made.

A viking braid I made on myself.

I painted the mask and made the foam wig for this huge masquerade dress that appeared on stage in Romeo and Juliet.

My job as a propmaker boarders closely with that of a make up artist and sometimes even of the costume department.
I do make masks and hair now and then, and I often help out when there is much to do.
I even learned how to make a moustach!
